In a bold step forward for the expansive Hollywood Park development, Clayco, a major construction firm based in Chicago, has broken ground on the $300 million Kali Hotel and Rooftop in Inglewood, California. The hotel is set to redefine luxury and hospitality in the area, becoming a key feature of the 300-acre project envisioned by Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke.
The Kali Hotel’s prime location, adjacent to the impressive $5.5 billion SoFi Stadium, positions it as a centerpiece in this transformative urban space. The design, crafted by Chicago’s Lamar Johnson Collaborative, will see the 13-story hotel join the distinguished Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection. With 300 rooms, including 34 suites, and a suite of high-end amenities—spa, fitness center, pool and yoga deck—the hotel is tailored to meet the expectations of modern travelers. The facility also offers nearly 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, along with ample parking on its ground and subterranean levels.
The scope of Hollywood Park’s broader vision is unparalleled, marking it as the largest urban mixed-use development underway in the western U.S. The Kali Hotel is the only approved hotel within the Hollywood Park Specific Plan, underlining its unique role in the area’s landscape. Beyond its immediate proximity to SoFi Stadium—which hosts the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams—the hotel is also within walking distance of the YouTube Theater, the soon-to-open Intuit Dome (home to the Los Angeles Clippers), and the Kia Forum. Its location just 4 miles from Los Angeles International Airport enhances its appeal for both business and leisure guests.
Hollywood Park will also include up to 5 million square feet of office space, an 890,000-square-foot retail district, and as many as 2,500 new residences. The development is set against a backdrop of green spaces, featuring 25 acres of tree-lined parks and outdoor areas that connect seamlessly to the centerpiece 12-acre Lake Park.
“Partnering with such visionary teams on a development of this magnitude is a testament to our commitment to excellence,” said Bob Clark, founder and executive chairman of Clayco. “We’re proud to contribute to a project that promises to shape the future of Inglewood and Los Angeles.”
The Kali Hotel is slated to welcome guests in 2026, offering a new pinnacle of hospitality that complements the vibrancy and ambition of Hollywood Park. With its modern design and premier location, it is poised to become a cornerstone of the community’s continued growth and innovation.
